The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. NYFF59 Opening Night｜50年后Frances再演麦克白夫人｜很舞台剧的一部电影，传统又不传统。拍得有个性，演得也有个性，but not my type…
开头的舞台剧风格不适应，后面越看越精彩，整体的艺术效果不错。只是这片子跟“科恩”二字完全不搭
卡司没有惊喜，出彩的是舞台化的场景和光影配合
这版也太像《蜘蛛巢城》了 但蜘蛛巢城真的不可逾越了 A24，黑白，4:3
6.0 布景甚至光都假得很——舞台质感，要说优点也只有这点了，至少给了一种体验，但这也不过是布鲁诺的功劳，那么单独的科恩，他的贡献呢？
剧本大概有10%～15%的小改编，但产生了巨大的影响。
刚好和前阵子的罗南的话剧版本作对比，显然话剧版为罗南做了很多的改编，加了不少戏份，电影版在奇幻的改编上加了很多力度。打光真是一绝，线条也是极简，视觉上非常舒服。但是麦克多蒙德的戏份也太少了哇！真的，恶女还得是由老戏骨来演，才能有那种味道
科恩的莎翁梦，每一幕都比冰血暴还冷，几百上千年，科技一直在发展，人类的欲望却始终原地踏步，我们都是麦克白，没有魔法保护的麦克白。
你永远也猜不到知名大导拥有无限创作空间后会选择拍什么……大科恩选择翻拍《麦克白》，如果是夙愿，那似乎能解释他风格的源头所在
形式上做到很多了
三星吧。我还记得第一次看《蜘蛛巢城》时的震惊。
对我来说只是科普了一下世界文学。 摄影美学，光影，都一流。
演员表是否暗示了old man是witches的伪装/幻象？
另外，多加一星给摄影。
觉得很高大上的表演，然而不好看。。。。无论是情节还是单调枯糙的背景，当然，还是能看的。
在欧洲的传统叙事中总喜欢插入一则带有宿命论的神谕。
对于向来不在看之前了解演职员表等背景的人来说，看到是乔尔科恩导演挺惊讶的，一个是他脱离科恩兄弟这一导演组合，再一个科恩兄弟的作品一向是无限接近现实，再加上自编的剧本，代表性的如《冰血暴》，而本片改编自莎士比亚的经典戏剧《麦克白》，很明显和科恩之前的风格大不相同，影片采用1.37:1接近正方形的比例和黑白色调，布景极简，作为电影舞台感更重，脸部特写居多，关注点集中在演员演技上。而台词也充满原著中的诗性，。
麦克白其实就是一则寓言故事 跟我们解释了什么是self fulfilling prophecy 算是忠实原著了
三星吧。我还记得第一次看《蜘蛛巢城》时的震惊。
领略莎翁文字之美，请不要去影院啃生肉，至少配台词字幕。
