The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 对印度电影(尤其是南印度电影)来说算不上脑洞大开，就是他们一惯的对体能的超级想象，打破各种不可能。实际上，它的剧情编排非常严谨，每一个重要的情节点以及镜头表现的张力都设计得很好，很有革命现实主义文艺的煽动性，只是当它和极度夸张化的英雄形象结合后，就变得很不现实了。本片导演之前的作品，中国观众很熟悉，有[巴霍巴利王]系列和[功夫小蝇]，前者的“英雄”跟本片一样，都近乎被神化，一方面让观众爽到极点，另一方面紧扣历史和民族主题。
虽是神剧，但可解压。电影用来消遣，导演获得利润，只有英国白人殖民者死伤惨重，完败
非常好的一部战🐺神片，整个故事内核作为中国人应该特别熟悉，霍元甲用中国功夫打败洋鬼子的奇技淫巧，只不过再将其融入印度独立史之中，确实是一部极佳的爱国主义宣传片，结尾的歌舞更是点名了这点。
历史的大潮浩浩荡荡，奔流不息，细小的插曲有时候不足让其改道。
