The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 过度煽情（油漆看上去都是假的），看到一半基本看不下去了。“所有人都想去莫斯科，而你却相反。……（因此）你是个渣男。”
虚拟的主角的登月经历和现实中的登月交叉，有一种在梦中的感觉。处在美国六十年代的童年生活比二十一世纪初的我的童年要精彩得多，是真的会很羡慕。

这种personal memoir性质的作品大概率是毁誉参半的，刚在《灵魂乐之夏》里看到那位说登月的钱不如给Harlem穷人的片段又在这里看到了，1969… what a year
