剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     2021-12-04@ Movie Movie Pacific Place @ HKFFF@ 怎么说呢，一方面感觉导演太省事了，那大段旁白穿故事，一方面又很想感谢导演让我梦回用了一个月高中数学课看完本作原著。90/100。还是想说那句前年在Sciences Po上课的时候望着窗外的阳光的时候发的傻傻的pyq：如果我此生注定颠沛流离，那我也愿意活在巴黎。

    原作有两个主角，电影砍掉了其中一个，只聚焦另一个，或许是出于篇幅的考虑，但也让思想性削弱了很多。作为名著改编，在影像上几乎没有什么令人惊艳的段落，而且大段的旁白让影片看上去又很像超长版的故事梗概。最大的价值大概是还算可以吸引观众去阅读原著吧。
