The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 人啊怎么就是不吸取教训，真的看个预告就够了，看正片真的是能把你气死。
虽然剧情走向从两男主一亮相，就猜出个七七八八，也并没影响到继续看完整个故事的热情。3个男生都是好菜，各有各的香，Peter的家庭组成也符合圣诞节的标准配置。环节上没有多余，没有不够，传统的西方节日里，套着不传统的GAY版爱情，欢乐带来的感染力完全不受性别取向拘泥。
