The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 结构不够紧张也不够悬疑。莫名其妙就死一个律师重伤一个律师。律师的正义感确实让人尊重，但又感觉太刻意。总之没有惊喜，一切预料之中。
看老戏骨飙戏超爽也是真的。
其实节奏还可以，但整体看下来，就是中规中矩的一部作品。
精心设置了暗线的双重镜像，本以为会走向《大卫戈尔》的殉道路，却用难以服众的皆大欢喜草草收场。最后为了过审自说自话拔高说教，却忘了理想主义尾声的达成仍然依靠资本对抗。仿佛是故意减弱悬疑性，把重心放在现实性，然而又陷入主流和黑色都浅尝辄止的尴尬，只达成了十分浅薄的映射，挺可惜的。
剧情异常简单，廖启智最后一部作品，感觉像是电影版的《律政强人》，但他的戏份远远不够。方中信则无论如何给我一种“张强”的感觉(他着西装实在太型)，但剧中寻回自己初心的前段非常突兀，有点莫名其妙。
整个剧情撑不住最后的发言。廖启智总是演的很好。
为了廖启智而看，电影里面有好多“熟人”。法律面前人人平等，印象最深是那个拿着秤的蒙面女神。“宁愿放走十个罪人，都不要冤枉一个无辜的人”，谢谢，我记住了。
如果庭审之后，再倒序摊牌的细节，影片的得分会更高一点
五星给所有这些HK演员的演技，以及那些几十年前我就在tvb剧看到的配角们，时光流转，情怀依在。

一开始就猜到了结局…… 都是好演员，就是太缺一分悬念让人聚精会神。
