施拉德的写作是70年代classical Hollywood式的，始终有一个hook吸引着看下去，所以完全不会觉得闷。他知道什么该交代什么可以省略，每一场戏又会与前面或后面的某场戏产生呼应，整部片是一个有机的整体，很好看。但是施拉德的拍法是反类型的，这两种风格的混合形成了一套他独特的美学。

核算拍没多大关系，虐人者人恒虐之，中间我是睡过去了。
节奏太慢，看之前以为是赌神+疾速追杀的结合体，看完以后啥也没有，男主牌都没赢就走了，本来就是想看看男主是不是神算子，结果只是装逼子。PS：中间有一段bgm很像怪奇物语片头，我小声说了一句stranger things，听见坐我后面的有人跟了一句stranger things，笑不活了…
确实不是我喜欢的类型，还挺斯科塞斯的。最后高潮没推起来，男主以为自己被救赎了那里跟小孩一样表演出问题了
仍能看到些美国电影的旧日荣光，当然不觉得足以和Taxi Driver相提并论，详细不展开了。期待施拉德还会与斯科塞斯合体搞创作，不是老马挂个制片名头的这种。
我觉得把最后34分钟截掉，反而是个比较完整的故事～～
讨厌自恋的导演。
本质上我觉得是过去创伤与自我救赎外加提了一下美军逼供，披了个打牌的皮。主人公很挣扎拧巴，看的我也很挣扎，在还可以-一般-其实还可以-真的一般之间来回挣扎。

风格回归了八十年代的感觉，颇显政治色彩，但过于沉闷，白水一般无味。鱼眼镜头的呈现效果还是蛮有意思。

出租車司機變成了玩牌高手，失足少女變成了暴躁少年。主角對於救贖的認知和執行真是很上世紀的浪漫了。愛情線讓我滿頭問號。奧斯卡，好辣好辣。
