The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧场版观影顺序：
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
因女机长的独白而入坑。前阵疫情的额济纳旗小县城，和剧中的小镇多么相像！
演员业务能力都好强 人道主义精神里巧妙的渗透着美国精神
头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
同样是救灾，同样是绝望，同样是与世隔绝，但纽芬兰让人像个人

太好看了，太好听了！当校车司机拿过陌生语言的圣经，按照熟悉的编号告诉语言不通的游客“不用担心”时、当他们来到全纽芬兰同性恋最多的小镇时、当他们在同一个地方向不同的神祇祈祷着同一件事时、当她身为美国第一位女机长却听闻热爱的飞机变成炸弹时、当她们都有着一个消防员儿子时、当他们因一件恶性事件相遇又相爱时，我笑与泪不绝。而当他们改变着装、饮下尖叫、亲吻鳕鱼时，纽芬兰瞬间升起了太阳。
那演技让我觉得不止12个人
故事主要传达爱、善意和理解。演员之间配合地很好，同一拨演员分饰两个不同地域的人，期间的角色转换一点不突兀，甚至在最后能很好地融合在一起，实在厉害。舞台灯光主要就是冷暖色相的变化，但是样式很丰富。音乐契合故事的发展脉络，最后单纯只有乐队的呈现也是个很好的结尾方式。
当汉娜得知自己儿子去世的时候，台侧的小提琴手也掉下眼泪。
