The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 将近三个小时全是战争场面，让人视觉疲劳，没有第一部火车上看长城那种美得动人心魄的神来之笔，本质上就是在看徐克的武侠片，最后结尾两兄弟的对话是最感动的地方，结果被突兀又难听的片尾曲吓了一跳，这歌太减分了。
彩色修复很赞，服装、家居色彩搭配，纯正民国风。
你见过军训放这个的麽！ 一个如此严肃的电影被我们看的如此嬉戏打闹···
时代局限性太强。若不是修复上院线，几乎看不下去。“首部黑白转彩色4k修复故事片”这个意义超越了电影本身。
不得不说，在大范围追求“先锋”的现在，最经典的电影语言依然发挥着属于它最好的效果。即使是以各种形式（文字、话剧、哑剧、舞剧）听过几百遍的故事还是看哭了。
