The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 对原版结局的改动，虽然更加暗黑，但却丢掉了人物。毫无意义的老片新拍，也就有机会竞争一下装修奖。
老套的故事，唯一让我感到特别的是心理医生怎么就控制了男主，原来答案还是催眠，但电影里并没有交代。其实这部还是在探讨人性。
还行，无功无过，挑不出来毛病，也说不上哪里出彩，现在好莱坞到底是怎么了，以往创新的精神都去哪儿了？十个提名，八个半都是翻拍。
画面巨美，镜头巨好看，故事也凑合，但是…前后半段从哪方面来看都是完全割裂的啊！不过即使如此，我也为魔兔cp加一颗星。我太喜欢这种“干什么都没用最后还是走上宿命的失败”的主角了，大魔王这么解释这一现象：“What happened to you? ”“Life. Life happened to me.”

尽搞些花哨东西，故事都没讲清，比老版逊色太多了
中间确实有点冗长，但还是喜欢最后结构上的一个闭环
但是如果这种道路走到了极端，走到了为了利润而忽视一切风险，那么结果是什么？
个人是挺喜欢托罗的美学的，但实在没什么化学反应噻……属于托罗的那part都有故弄玄虚之嫌。
結局加一星，沒有落入老套的壞人伏法好人平安的發展。公司的經營理念“努力”“平衡”“忠誠”在黑心老闆的詮釋下變得如此諷刺，公平從來只是上等人用來放縱的藉口。
真的，好长，啊！前半部分和后半部分很脱节，最后靠一杯酒圆回来，但还是感觉像两个故事。
前情有必要交代，但确实不必拖得太长。陀螺可能是想找个机会展示自己的freak show美学——马戏团的帐篷和诡异陈设令人联想到魏玛时期表现主义经典之作《卡里加里博士的小屋》。当陀螺沉迷于此时，批判与猎奇的分野则趋于暧昧模糊。
