The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 点子很好，bug很多，不过不细想也还过得去，故事刚开始讲的挺有意思，后半段就无聊了。结局本以为是克隆体战胜了本体，但是看热门长评，发现是本体战胜了克隆体也能讲的过去，而且有些细节确实指向这个结论。最后，本体还得假装自己是克隆体，才能赢得男友和母亲的喜爱，真的有点可悲啊！

哈哈，結局本體竟然被克隆體反殺，其實在喝克隆體給她的水喝就猜到了⋯⋯
6分。科幻外衣下的人性探讨。许多对白还是很精炼的，还很黑色幽默，故事讲得很流畅，最后的结局也在意料之中。
鼠人那个故事的背景渲染得非常好（完成度也不错，基本可以抽离出来拍一部电影了）。几个故事里，机器人体实验还算可以，失踪的女孩，邪恶博士，救赎……

概念有趣，只是除了主角的大部分角色的变化线条都毫无弧度，一而再再而三地直接90度转变有点让人无语
给个三星，剧情简单来说就是聚焦科技发展对人伦道德的考验，有黑镜那意思但还差得远；
一般，但是可以讲的更好。克隆人比本体更能被家庭和伴侣接纳，意味着我们不在乎的你是否是一个人，仅仅在乎的是你是否满足了家庭/伴侣的情感需要。其中设定有一点不合理，说如果克隆人存在时间够长，有了自己的意识后，就有相应的法律支持它的权益，它可以和本体决斗，决定谁能留存。但是从人的角度来看，刚出生的孩子不管有没有意识，他/她都是一个人，都应该活下来。
还不错，前半段拍的比较无聊，后半段渐入佳境，最后的开放式结局很有意思。讲的故事其实不复杂，体现出一些对人性的探讨。克隆人代替本体生活了一段时间以后，家人们竟然也接受了克隆体，反而一起设计准备杀死本体，也就是说不仅是在社会上，即使是在家庭里，他人需要的也并不是你本身，而是你作为女朋友/女儿这一角色所具体有的一些功能，还挺黑色幽默的。
有点悲伤的故事，亲妈都希望复制体活着，本体还是太善良了。
结果因为亲人的阴谋，本体必须装作替代品才能存活。所以最后哭了
只是不太明白女主训练了那么久，那么想活下去，最后还会轻易的去信任克隆体
电影院不会有英文字幕版.也许是因为《火药奶昔》里的女刺客还不够出名。
其实观影过程挺煎熬的，这种冷淡的幽默把握不好就是冷场，《自卫的艺术》是我的底线了，结尾可以说是开放的，但我还是觉得本体完蛋了。
当克隆人取代了本体的一切，自己就成了被嫌弃松子的一生，是我杀了我……
设定挺有意思，有点黑镜那味儿。但是结尾确实有点反智，直接破坏来前面的长长铺垫，互相防备对方，检查有没有武器，居然能直接喝对方给的水。。。。。。
