The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. This movie made me feel the pain, in a physical way. Just the thought that my body could potentially bear a life makes me feel horrified. Having a uterus is the original sin of a woman.

我的身体不由我做主，为导演这么敢打五星，同时觉得为我们触碰不到这类题材感到一丝愤懑
和《从不很少》一样的蓝色滤镜，女性的恐怖是蓝色的。全片存在感最强的是那些渣男。堕胎和生育从不只是某个性别的问题，而是全人类的问题。对堕胎的呈现实际已经相当节制（对比女性瘾者的猎奇式呈现），但却更加有力。因为在电影中，不能被再现的才是真实。
导演的镜头美学是全篇最大亮点，利用镜头晃动和景深表现出了很多主角内在与外界的关系或态度，构图上缺乏相关的运用，主要通过演员与演员的距离来表现这方面。
《从不，很少，有时，总是》
4.5喜欢瀑布胜过阳光普照，瀑布拍得很笨拙，阳光太精巧了，以至于看不出他要干什么，阳光的说教性更强，有一种宣扬。瀑布很长，大量的日常戏，和一些日常对话，拍得笨拙还有尴尬之处，甚至看出点李红旗…然后再配上《阳光普照》的方法 我就能get他努力的方向了…声音很好。—“台北精神失常记”
可以跟《四月三周两天》《总是，有时，很少，从不》并列为女性生育权三部曲了。直白到让人疼痛。
在生理心理双重折磨下
应该是钟孟宏熬得最差的一碗鸡汤了吧。呆滞，割裂，有气无力的心理病故事，连疫情也只是一团模糊的背景布。如果不是最后10分钟真的可以拖走了...
女人，再不去反抗，这样的未来就在不远处等着你们。
我不希望这部影片广泛传播，但是又想让人直观的感受这恐怖。

其实你对确定一无所知
“得了只攻击女人的病，然后变成家庭主妇的病”
“一个人并非生下来就是女人，而是逐渐长成了女人”。
一种只会攻击女人的病，把她们变成家庭主妇的病。是社会病了，和一部分可恶的男人。
好几个画面不敢直视，结尾很理想化，就像她坐在课堂里一场未来美梦。女性拥有子宫，在同为性上，男性隐身，只把证据留在了女性身上，为他们不遭同样舆论，便索性割开关系，说女子不洁，不贞，自己仿佛是受害者，是被女子的样貌诱惑了。这多可笑，又多现实的疼痛。
