《廊桥遗梦》后最温柔的伊斯特伍德，没有了野心和热血，只有一个耄耋老者的娓娓道来。结尾那段话借角色回首自己辉煌的一生，眼前又浮现出《黄金三镖客》里那个叼着烟卷的牛仔。东木，请继续拍下去。

东木确实老了，经不起什么波澜了。片子没什么惊喜，但其中几段自白还是很戳人啊。太希望他老人家还能再出一部杰作啊！三星。
