The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 220508，在这个疫情严峻的当下，在隔离的房间里，这部电影给了我太多的喜悦、感动与希冀。第一次看这样的百老汇音乐剧录像，真的是绝好的现代艺术啊，一方小小的舞台，简单的布景与道具，却生动地表现了这样一个饱满的故事，厉害厉害。
真是以小见大的好作品！用纽芬兰小岛上的温情和爱来对抗人类历史上最具毁灭性的恶性事件，非常令人感动！对迫降事件后，社区各个层面的反应刻画得也非常还原。考拉唱得真好！
