The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 「赋予行为以动机」恐怕是新世纪恐怖片始终贯彻的一个基本点，而本片在怀旧滤镜之外，试图挖掘出「垮掉的一代」的心灵根源，以及更大的人类共情——「生命的激情」，这样的情感的确是会变异成妖的。

好血腥啊。看不了，如果有一天我也搞不动了，我想我也会难过到发疯的。
而米婭同時飾演女主Maxine和老太太Pearl，將身體焦慮和老年焦慮轉化成了主題式的隱喻。

另类恐怖片，只是没太大意思。比起其中的杀戮，真正恐怖的是衰老。至少是这个视角下的衰老。
有些场景还行，但整体还是无聊了，节奏不对。
从A片变恐怖片，是old woman被激发起来的性欲却不能有效实现，背景铺垫不够导致整个杀戮略显突兀（不过据说已有第二部前传）。满满七八十年代恐怖片味道，低像素画面，越粗糙反而却越“精致”复古啊。还有《闪灵》砍门镜头不愧是经典，又一次被致敬了。

A24太想在主题和视觉上作出与Midsommar齐平的恐怖片了，X其实在很大程度上继承了那种无意识的残忍与快乐至死的心理设计。很多快闪式的intercutting很有意思，对于老年，欲望，压抑的阐释也很有洞见。70-80年代的影像卡带的视觉效果和对新浪潮以及The Shining, Psycho之类经典的致敬也可圈可点。

老头老太太欲求不满，大开杀戒，最后被反杀，前面墨迹了一个小时，开两倍速都嫌慢，都是俗套，浪费时间，可以不看
