The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 在如今全球lockdown的时期，“No man is an island"的颂歌显得尤为可贵。这也是我看过了布景、角色、场景转换最有创意的一部音乐剧了，虽然一人分饰好几角，但是个个都人设分明，没有一丝混乱。里面的不同种族、宗教信仰、性别和国籍的陌生人的碰撞和交往都是理想社会中才能达到的和谐。看到最后音乐剧中原型的人和演员一一合影的时候，一边哭一边觉得：哇，原来世界可以这么美好啊。
真的太棒了 演员的表演和唱歌都无可挑剔 真想去看百老汇的现场
这个剧情也不能说不行 毕竟本来也不能怎么改编 不过觉得故事选取可以更好点 总的来说就是平淡 但又不像乐队来访那样有深层的情感 无意中就能打动人 音乐一般

除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
哭死我了，故事本就很动人，这舞台调度更是超凡
看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。
演员太棒了
每个个体的困境依旧，但对痛苦的共同感知造就了鲜活的、善良的、沟通着的世界。
喜欢到说不出话来 又好笑又好哭 最喜欢的就是女机长那幕了
炉火永远热着水壶
爱与共情，可赞的人类。像这样优秀的音乐剧可以多来点。
