The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 热血沸腾，哽咽多次，无论这个世界有多么糟糕，还有音乐，真是件幸运的事。表白女机长！
头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
不愧是百老汇啊，舞台上的每个人包括最后的乐手都是魅力四射，通过舞台，我们看到了在甘德这么一个平时被人遗忘的小镇，危难时刻涌现出人性的光辉，又通过中东人，飞行员，纽约市民，失去消防员的母亲等等个体完整的反应了整个事件，轻松而严肃，幽默又不失温情
