brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
小K的表演方法欣赏不来，代入安娜德阿玛斯大概更有说服力
flesh的空性以及追逐或违背它的痛苦，还是围绕着consumed展开的，电影界对欲望之物质主义最具身的描绘一直都在柯南伯格这里，此片复古感在当下就像回到九十年代，这其实反而是科幻政治电影里的old sex了吧！

喜欢柯南伯格的高概念、颠覆感官的体验，但是很讨厌他大段大段地往作品中塞入对白，影像本该是文本的补充和提升，在柯南伯格这里很割裂，大场面像是注解。所谓的new sex确实非常震撼，痛感也是影像的重要部分，但除此之外真的乏善可陈，最后还唐突结束，意犹未尽。给《赛博朋克2077》里面装义体的过场动画弄成VR可能更爽，《未来罪行》里面大部分的思考和体验游戏里都有。
梦感。寓言感。没有“世界”。性的焦虑；创作的焦虑；表演的焦虑。生育的焦虑；增殖的焦虑；进化的焦虑。进食的焦虑；疼痛的焦虑。最后一镜的Viggo，无神的眼，一滴泪，蒙难的贞德。“Not good at the old sex”又何尝不是一种自反，如今neo-sex也成了old sex。视听有锐利的胶稠质地，挥之不去的蕾雅·赛杜和Howard Shore。

陆陆续续看完了，我这低俗的品味，电影本身应该有些东西，但除了概念化真看不出别的了。
应该是离戛纳最近的一次了吧，片名出现的时候简直想尖叫，这么快就公映了，荷兰人真有你的！如果surgery is the new sex的意思就是在无意义和痛苦中寻找意义的话还是蛮酷的，但是结尾莫名其妙转到基因修正这种把人工具化的old sex，最后真正在践行new sex的只有主角两人了吧。当代艺术一旦卷起来就很无聊了。Whatever，如果这代导演只剩一个酷小孩的话那一定是柯南伯格！
医疗剧粉无法接受这样不严谨的手术流程。。。
柯南伯格创造了一个具有全新概念的世界，身体由人类掌控，器官成为艺术，血腥艺术，手术即是性交，大量全新的概念涌入倒是创造了不小的观影压力，但是不得不说全程看下来竟然觉得蛮有意思的。斯图尔特和维果那段对话看得我真难受啊，一个口里卡着痰，一个说话喘大气…（借用柯南伯格那时对《潘神的迷宫》的吉尔莫德尔托罗说的话：“拍的很棒，但是金棕榈就别想了”）
有点空 概念也有点炒冷饭 但是还是很对味的身体恐惧！后人类依旧在玩重复的身体表演艺术 但Still shout out for Cronenberg!
Ce goût nostalgique de la SF organique retrouvé du vieux Cronenberg (quelle joie!!) sonne paradoxalement ici la dissonance vis-à-vis de cette constante mutation du corps humain au cœur du récit. Le corps a changé, le body horror de Cronenberg semble immuable. Quelques concepts et designs même en harmonie avec cet univers futuriste crépusculaire ne remplaceront guère l'âme de l'œuvre, qui laisse un arrière-gout inachevé.
6.5分。非常晦涩，但整体观感竟然还可以。突然让我想起了《妙想天开》？？这个人类进化的创意挺有意思的，但导演的挖掘似乎并不深入，而是更集中在猎奇的领域里。当然了，观众永远可以相信Léa Seydoux 的肉体，几具美丽的肉体算是本片少数的亮色了。
在身体改造方面极具艺术性。未来，器官毫无存在的必要，只会滋生细菌，后患无穷。人类与人工合二为一，在保证了生存的同时，突破身体的极限也成为了艺术表达的强有力方式之一。通过米开朗基罗式的重塑，人类探索了更多元的生存可能性。可是所呈现出来的效果过于平淡，不尽人意，最有冲击力的段落竟只是耳朵人跳舞。跟同样讲述突破身体机能的《钛》比起来几乎不是一个量级的，差距有点大。
我TM……不知道管这种装B过了其实挺过时的概念，各种解释各种聊，是柯南伯格想晚节不保还是咋的，其实他一直拍片都不太行……

電影探討的，一是sex evolution，二是body evolution，三是social landscape及伴隨著的politics。我覺著小k飾演的角色有點可愛誒，在末世混沌裡誰才是工業社會的天啟四騎士？
