The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     {★★★} 原则上我讨厌这些写起来比看起来有趣的电影，深刻吗，它们只是让观众觉得自己深刻而已。但我不羞于承认自己喜欢这部空洞的敌托邦寓言：与身体相关的，自然也与政治相关；以秩序进行独裁，正如镇压进化的身体暴政。矛盾的是，柯南波格若有似无地暗示阻碍革命发生的并非仅有旧秩序，还有艺术，无论肤浅或深刻。我为他的哲学论文捏一把汗，但在严肃艺术的领域内，不存在比自嘲的艺术家更有趣的东西。

    #Lab111# 电影的镜头没有啥特别突出的点，构图倒是非常舒适，让几场戏都带有强烈的宗教感，女主女配初遇的戏构图上带有对照感，也是对应在后期阐述的新式与老式，“理想”与“现实”的对照关系。音效中时常出现的苍蝇声是在提醒我们这“新现实”对应在影片未来反乌托邦的设定中，能从影片中体会到一种存在主义感，主要源于片中对于肉体存在的定义及最后的结局给我的感觉。从内容上看整部电影都带头极强的讽刺性，不管是新式的性爱或者是食塑者的设定。不喜欢的点在于感觉到想深度的探讨一些话题，但画面却一直在搞“花活儿”，有种形式大于内容的感觉。其实更沉在画面冲击上可能效果更好。
