Alaska Rose has had a difficult few years since her mom left the family four years prior; acting out, rebelling against her single dad, Conner, getting into trouble in school and worse. But when she turns eighteen, Alaska finds herself in front of a judge in adult court for some of the same out-of-control behavior. In lieu of a jail sentence, Alaska is ordered to do community service in an assisted living facility where she is assigned to Mrs. Foster, an elderly resident who is unapproachable at best and hostile at her worst. Will Mrs. Foster be Alaska's undoing or will she simply be another obstacle on the road to the headstrong girl's freedom? As Alaska tries to minimally fulfill her court obligation and dodge actual jail time, she deals with peer pressure, static from her family, outside influences and demons from her past. Can she navigate the tumult and re-discover a relationship with God and her family or will she remain caught in the cycle of bad choices and lose what little of either is left?

不得不说影片设定非常old school，上次看到这种战争场面还是在《三国演义》里。

这种电影就很容易筛选同好了，要参与豆瓣短评讨论你能给气死。
大烂片一个，有争议吗？虎头蛇尾，大山临盆，音乐配的人昏昏欲睡，我睡过去三次，坚持醒过来倒带，一点不漏的看完了，果然是个大烂片。
谁懂，全片最有性张力的片段不是保罗与梦中情人蓝眼睛的实打实的接吻，而是与他妈妈在脱衣服时尴尬的眼神相交。
看的时候一直在想，香料到底是什么奇奇怪怪的设定，嗯？
可以预言，今年的豆瓣年度报告里一定会有这一条“这部电影大家都喜欢，你的看法不一样”。
气氛造的很是，但没看懂：
剥去那些玄乎其玄的命运和血缘能力，把香料换成石油，这简直是一部不能更直白的中东创伤史。
他话还没说完，人们就迫不及待地打断他：还有淹死这种死法？
话说，就只有我觉得张震的造型神似傅满洲吗？？
画面很不错。音乐推着你走。
甚至说到底，不就是星际背景，沙漠场面加上权游的价值体系吗？
资源、财富、统治、剥削、反抗、权谋、战争，诸如此类，是人类社会永恒的主题。
