The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 别人拍电影是要讲故事，美院老师拍电影像是在写论文。
这部片子的战斗场面还是不错的，也足够残酷。形式确实很新颖，仔细看还是挺好看的
片子有想法，挺大胆，但在我这不算成功。挺喜欢摄影的质感，影像的情绪和氛围有了，但完全不会讲故事，节奏一塌糊涂。整体不算差，不过能拿数个重要奖项不敢苟同。
不伦不类 东施效颦；《八佰》、《集结号》甚至《我不是王毛》的尾灯都追不上；不要尬吹什么“诗电影新高峰”了，丢不丢人啊？
当然整部电影的镜头都很美，不同人物所代表的不同类型的革命战士，以及最后的血雨，再考虑到这是一部命题电影。真的很不错。

整体影片质感适合大银幕
能不能拍的和功勋差不多，别低级红高级黑。能不能别打着艺术电影干商业电影的事。

总体来说，对于命题作文，本片确实提供了新的可能，但诗性的幼稚，难入大雅之堂。
有点致敬老塔的意思，摄影真牛逼。国美永远的神。已二刷，准备三刷。

这个苏联式诗意战争片的尝试再一次印证了“视觉不是美术”——极精致的摄影和极粗糙的故事、对白、剪辑和调度并存，努力实现的气韵也显得虚无。
