The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 大人帝国之后最好的小新剧场版。无论是人物刻画，剧情，节奏，立意上都不失为一部很好的动画电影。这部电影直白地说明了大家都在做正确的事却仍然会引起悲剧的后果，但是只要相互帮助，坚持到底，就会有奇迹发生。

最令人唏嘘的有两点，一是法律专家认真讨论犹太人的定义，虽然不愿把犹太混血视为犹太人，但却提出对所有犹太混血绝育的方案；二是年长的内政官员一直担心这样繁重的任务是否对执行人员造成太大不良影响，最后在听到计划用毒气提高屠杀效率时终于放心。

“一切都要怪那个孩子把蜡笔用完了”这部我觉得可以！把人性的丑恶面暴露的一览无余。这部依然有搞笑，有燃点，有催泪。除了前边的节奏太快了，别的都不错。希望我永远喜欢看蜡笔小新，希望我永远有那一部分纯真，希望下一部更好！希望疫情早日结束！
本质还是挺套路的，没有涂鸦娜娜子和真人娜娜子相遇的戏码可能是不想重复机器人爸爸的老路，但是这里也没有制造更佳的戏剧冲突，所以涂鸦娜娜子领便当的戏非常无力，相反撕扯内裤的泪点更足一点，当然也是内裤的戏最多，人物塑造最完善的一个了。中途插入一个人类角色其实挺多余而且一点泪点都没有，由于主要人物实在太多以致于对任一人物的情感都冲淡了。喜欢的点：开头内阁投票赞成导致全片危机的议案、春日部的军事封锁、一旦小新没有魔法蜡笔加持大众立马唾弃（虽然后面又感动加入救世队伍非常无力）、魔法蜡笔有损耗不会一直用不完（但为了讲那个新人物的故事把蜡笔用完，但也没讲出什么好东西。
故事本身非常质朴简单，但是被打磨的闪闪发光，尤其最后和左卫门告别还有所有人努力涂鸦的时刻，那种感动不是单纯靠配乐和镜头能做到的。

3.5/5，前半段节奏很有问题，有点水时长的感觉。最后扯内裤完成画作很棒，但离大人帝国有很大的差距。
这和当今西方世界利用俄乌冲突商讨如何制裁俄罗斯，怎么没收俄罗斯裔的财产，如何制裁俄罗斯血统的猫，都是一模一样的……历史总是以不断重复或相似的画面和事件在上演着……当今的美国就是希特勒，而那些西方国家，特别是北约就是万湖会议的那些人，只要老大一个想法，下面的北约就会想出各种奇招来进行制裁，有一个看实在没办法了，我想到的你们都说了，那我就制裁他们的猫吧，这你们总该想不到了吧…

会议上各部门的头头为了自身利益相互博弈，会议召集者为了达到目的软硬兼施。与会者在一番讨价还价，让利得利之后，终于达成一致。

对不同心境下的涂鸦的区别传达得非常到位，但是剧本感觉真的有大问题，笑点设置重复，情感戏很生硬，我真的有点受不了这样，非得设置个牺牲的苦情人物……结尾又想加一些社会学的人性课题，部分桥段又过于子供向，太割裂了，最后观感真的挺难受的，个人认为不能和《大人帝国》相比较。而且题材真的很新颖嘛?神笔马良应该蛮多人都看过吧……
意外的还挺好看的！！三个画出来的内裤 猪 娜娜子，离开的时候都很感动。本来没什么期待，但真的好感人。小新虽然很贱但是很善良。真的超级棒的动画片。搞笑的元素也在 不错！
这部开篇就进正题，节奏很快。那么多部剧场版，自卫队终于出现了。加入了很多人性的东西，蜡笔娜娜子，大人们质问小新一家却不愿同心协力，而且是没有反派的一部。
這種動漫被八組批判為惡臭低俗，就像被小新救了又去責怪他把蠟筆弄丟的大人一樣自私討厭不要臉。
