The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 后面看进去了感觉还不错
女主不够漂亮诱人、让那个小年轻跟自己也有些突兀，除此之外，不错的片子，节奏略显缓慢。洋人就是喜欢这种大背景（美国黑狱虐囚）下的小故事。
摄影有布列松那味，但是一看到男主屁股那么大就又……不是那味。长镜头监狱那段，真的挺帅。
3.5/节奏慢需要耐心。赌博只是业余爱好，施暴者一系列创伤后应激障碍才是主要。
这部电影的主导就有问题，是战争创伤吗？可是他们没有真正的反思，奇克的父亲不是因为虐囚自责而自杀，却是因成为了别人的替罪羊心理不平才自杀……所以此后的一切都毫无意义，只是在歪打歪撞。
创伤，以及将理解和爱作为救赎。
一直以为旅馆用布包住会发生什么，结果啥也没有......
期待值太高了，结果看了两次也没看进去。放弃了。

{★★★☆} 我忘记了自己为什么不待见Paul Schrader的上一部电影，但这次他仅凭稀释到惨白的沉沦空气就扣留住了我的注意力。和往常一样，他的兴趣目标是在隐秘的扭曲下逐渐麻木的人们，但虐囚显然比环境问题更能击穿道德、以及美国的虚伪。作为Schrader的精神导师，布列松的水平棋高一筹--但这里至少有两个绝伦的镜头，你看到一眼就能认出来。
