剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     Wilmette Theater。像Joaquin Phoenix会接的戏（他似乎一直对next generation的生活状态抱有一种悲观主义）一些纪录片技法+声效的运用挺有趣 大小两主演演技极好。黑白美则美也 意义似乎不大 浮于表面形式。不论从剧作 呈现形式 还是主题意义上都略显肤浅。片子像一个休闲下午随意喝了杯淡淡的气泡酒 喝完易忘 甚至不打嗝儿。

    虽然没有旁白，但片中读的那些书、做的那些访谈、录的那些环境音（所谓“使不朽”）、日记性质的自述、平添忧郁的黑白画面，都让人想起泰伦斯·马利克式的（故作）深沉。片中所有受访者都是真实出镜即兴发挥（包括一个后来被枪杀的叫布莱恩特的黑人小男孩），这倒挺适合方法派的华金·菲尼克斯。不知道这种亦幻亦真的骚操作是不是受了去年《无依之地》的启发。
