The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 前半个小时太吃力了，人又多，职位有多，名字复杂，语速飞快，表示跟不上，不适合我的电影。
影片的服装、道具、场景艺术设计风格鲜明，描述出德国魏玛共和国时期的各种风貌。影片还穿插了大量的黑白纪录片影像，来证实这个社会背景的真实性，显示出开始动荡的德国社会。
汤姆希林。浓浓的破碎感，好适合演悲剧。好多画面像油画。很美
呜呜。// 可爱的法比安终将被暗涌的湖面所吞没，而之后的德国会发生什么不用我说，政治的隐喻无处不在最开始离谱，而后来才发现对我们而言的荒漠才是那个时代的“真实”。手持镜头快速剪辑，漂亮的汤姆希林，最可怜的不是天真的陨落，而是明明在努力保持清醒，却依然不敌，命运的洪流。

陷入了无尽的、混乱的自我表达，且未被具有内化力的文本所组织起来。后重看<彼得罗夫的流感>。
Amazing dialogue, acting, editing and some really great shots.
3月看的电影，到了5月还会时常想起。这糟糕的生活，无处不在的无力感，割裂感，压的喘不过气来。
随了剧情推进，形式感被逐渐消解，代入感却越发真实。文青的结局似乎从来都是注定，在任何国家，在任意年代。“我应该去当教师，只有孩子适合拥有理想”。
生活混乱不堪，压抑，找不到出路的时候可以看看。
用了很多特别的拍摄技巧，后半和前半对比起来显得有些普通了，结尾真是非常有余味。

看完就觉得，这样充实饱满的剧情，也确实得三个小时才能承载。

导演还是差点意思，影片的艺术性基本在台词上，虽然思想高度足以5星，最终只能4星
