The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. Bizzare. 奇幻诡异，光怪陆离的视觉错乱和感官冲击，前半部分片长cult的塑造噩梦维度，使得观众的恐惧极度无限实体化，诡异的造型和夸张极限的造型令观众非常不适，第二三章有序切换为对现实战争的极限嘲讽和极端视觉层次展示，隐约可见的反战主题和混乱秩序缔造的恐怖幻想天才动画之作
人类的历史从无到有再归为虚无，所有的一切都是“人类”的说法，有的时候觉得人类太过伟大，还没探索到的地方到底存在什么呢
《2001:太空漫游》＋《潜行者》＋《生命之树》……？好吧，这种概括其实是一种思维的懒惰。这部电影，拥有着无与伦比的原创性。
