The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 抄袭美人鱼故事扣一星，自私利己主意价值观扣一星，男主的泰王同款露脐装扣一星。
画面好看，角色可爱，只是不甜还腻。
老年痴呆，家庭内部，女性困局。细腻，传统，陈旧。走进电影院不会觉得难看，但不是为了工作需要我是不会走进电影院看它的。
虚渊玄这是念了金刚经？一切有为法，如梦幻泡影；如露，亦如电，应作如是观。立意其实很高，但奈何放在整个作品里面就挺割裂的。
设定有点无语 浑身的泡泡和美人鱼身上的脓包有什么区别...

从故事到感慨，都拍出来了，其他的话都是多余了
剧本真的拉胯……很多日本的点都有，但是铺垫得太少了，主角们刚见面没多久就开始互相拯救，属实是有些尴尬
生命的旅程永远孤独，爱人也只是暂陪孤岛一小段路的泡泡。
但…这声音听得我很难受…那个说喜欢白开水姑娘的男人一股巨大的棚味，没有一点环境音。这节奏不文艺也不商业，最后结尾一个时钟的声音就over了…开头这父亲形象如何构建呢…病情加重…母亲拒绝养老院…总之这剧本是放在学生毕设开题都会被毙的程度。
拍的很稳，这是平遥影展这几天看的情感最真的一部电影。某处段落也被感动，作为新导演第一部已经很不错。结尾一镜可以去掉似乎更有力量，当然只是个人想法。
给我气笑了，明星制作班底最后搞出来一个新海诚风格的作品——画面精美，剧情只有少男少女莫名爱得轰轰烈烈，其它啥也不是。老虚应该很不想在这部作品的脚本上冠名吧…
虚渊玄属实拖后腿，剧情并不复杂，呈现的效果却不好。
