The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 和爱尔兰出身的英国朋友一起去看的，故事的情绪很私人，我完全体会不到，顺便问了朋友许多爱尔兰历史。

搞不懂为什么会拿原创剧本奖，故事讲的有些散，事件也很分散，构图加了很多分。
孩童视角的叙事，时代动荡，街区暴乱，家庭纷争，在大的阴暗混乱的背景之下，自取一丝小的温情回忆。与亲人的温暖相处，与同学的懵懂情谊，连同剧院里的色彩，共同构筑他的童年。不由得会联想到《罗马》，虽多一丝匠气，但依旧很喜欢。（2022.02.18）

从小男孩buddy的视角演绎贝尔法斯特那段动荡的岁月，太过甜美和文艺范，真有点“少年不识愁滋味，为赋新词强说愁”。
别的不说，有些影调有种迫冲的感觉，真不错。话说我也差不多是这样异地夫妻环境成长的唉～
在只有1%的人想要离开故乡的地方迫切地离开了她，又用99%的迫切回归故乡。“GO. Go Now. And don't look back”，丹奇奶奶和曼斯爷爷挑起乡愁的大梁，貌合神离的父母，兄长，特意安插的同桌的她，都没法在感情上说服观众。黑白儿童视角片就叫《罗马》？

看哭了。在国外这么多年其实没怎么想过家，甚至有点怀疑自己是不是没有良心。但贝尔法斯特让我怀念起童年生活，不管时代背景下在发生什么，或者父母家长邻里之间在发生什么，小孩子的忧虑只有那么点大。爷爷很让人心疼，在战乱年代保持一颗诙谐的心是一种超能力。
贝尔法斯特里的罗马，私人回忆的珍贵在其真实和私密，只是未必总能讲出好故事。可是好喜欢朱迪丹奇的最后一幕，我们都是无脚鸟，在这个陌生分裂的地球上不知疲倦地向前飞。Go. Go now. Don’t look back.

实在是没有什么意思，希望不要再搞这种电影了。
