Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'

劳模姐的最佳女主应该是没有悬念了。这个故事的缺陷在于，没有深入探讨任何一个方面:Jim的同性倾向、Tammy对lgbtq的维护、母亲的形象甚至于两人的家庭不和全都只是浅尝辄止。
两位主演的演技还是挺好的，尤其是劳模姐，真整容式演技。
劳模姐的独角戏，要不是2022年奥斯卡封后也不会关注这个片子，化妆后完全认不出本人，应该也是为了本片增重了不少，典型最佳女主的片子，但是真的和男主没有CP感。
非常平庸的传记片，这部电影对塔米菲到底是什么态度？仅仅是写她的真诚吗？这够吗？从叙事来说，这部电影给不了解美国电视布道历史的观众来看就是个灾难。但是男女主角的演技实在是太出类拔萃了，尤其是又唱又跳又特效化妆简直如同变了一个人的劳模姐，毫无疑问，今年就是她的奥斯卡封后之时了！
感觉他们两个能成功募集到那么多钱就是一个巨大的骗局....
四平八稳的传记片，“劳模姐”确实对得起自己这个昵称。
不过劳模姐这表演不比K强？
女主挺美，老公不信她是最致命的，一点悬念都没有的惊悚片，心理恐惧处理的挺好，没有特别恐怖但一直提心吊胆的那种感觉
这部片子唯一拿得出手的可能就是女主的演技了……

以纪录片的形式拍电影，让电影既有纪录片的严谨叙事，又不失喜剧的趣味横生。
塔米菲大多数篇幅都很美，但老年妆的表演还是十分震撼，有点感动
普普通通，安德鲁的妆发有点出戏，不如劳模的妆发自然，自然也影响了观影体验，更希望故事可以专注于一个事件，而不是整个时代流水账一般
离婚，然后找回自己的生活，是唯一不被杀死的出路。
在所有類似的電影裡，都有一個你說什麼都不相信、完全不參與劇情的男人
忙着看色彩搭配和室内装饰：大开间、低进深，超大采光，层高二米八，开关高度一米四，墙壁线条造型典雅；浅绿、嫩黄、淡紫、纯白……自然色系很清新；而且众多场景的色感都很有特点，比如超市、街道、会馆等地；家具、灯具都很不错，就是隔音太差，前功尽弃。
作为传记片来说着实很平庸，奥斯卡女主演技也就那样吧，唯一吸引人的是塔米菲这个人物本身，她就是为了舞台而生的
其實最後的結局已經不重要，單是在他鄉異國陌生環境語言不通丈夫只顧著工作對妻子的無所適從，彷徨不安無動於衷已經很能給人共感，如果能結束在地下鐵可能更能留有餘韻，但最後這手反殺＋丈夫目睹更能完整的展示出這類女性電影的定性結局，倒也和導演上一部短片的結局相得益彰
