The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我觉得把最后34分钟截掉，反而是个比较完整的故事～～
以为是赌片，结果看完才发现是公路片，公路感十足但是没有把最核心的“救赎”给讲好
关塔那莫和拉斯维加斯一次拉郎配组合。讲精于计算的人孤注一掷，作死的历程。一大堆赔率和赌技渲染无非反衬出最后男主非理性的抉择。保罗施奈德似乎擅长这类心执异念，飞蛾扑火的悲剧人物命运设计。
何必要这么讲故事呢？导演应该把自己家里都包上白布，然后拿个黑笔满屋子把意淫构思都画上涂鸦就好了，怎么还能拉投资，叫上几个演员呆若木鸡一样的演一场给观众看呢？
电影通过倒序描述一个赌徒的人生，来达到揭开国家的黑暗面，导演希望通过这样描述来得到观众的共鸣。可见在美利坚人眼中，容不下那些冰山一角的腐败，他们追求着一个完美的平等的法治国家，想对于地球的另一面，铺天盖地的黑暗，他们已经幸福很多了。
3.5，施拉德似乎在重复同一种主人公，精神创伤的男主角走向自我毁灭的道路…“宗教性”庄重的色调和构图，真是我看过最压抑的公路片了…

浓浓的廉价感和莫名其妙的人物关系，还有各种让人出戏的配乐和拉黑过场，看得尴尬癌发作。两星都给Oscar Isaac的表演。
摄影和剪辑很加分。虽然但是，对于黑狱中的执行者没啥值得原谅的，尽管他也是个人。
熔炼美国最好的几个导演。紧密嵌套的声画锁匙，所以有一些赘笔也被含入，在电影的齿轮中只顾运进。松散？那是眼睛栖息的地方。

本来以为是一部赌片，结果又是一部战后ptsd的片子。两种情节穿插在一起，整个片子的节奏都很慢，只是力度完全不一样，在打牌的时候很稳很平和，离开牌桌后，男主的动作和习惯以及和cirk的对话，却充满了力度。还不错
开头得眼神设计。回忆得拍摄效果。私人化得情感但看不明白的赌博
Oscar Isaac很迷人，但劇本有點過時

有些镜头蛮有意思的，大段的广角和监狱里的百态，很妙。
