The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 最主要的问题还是在剧本。大篇幅聚焦比赛场不是明智的选择，赛场上情节的推进十分费劲，进而导致了各种情节漏洞的出现。以及，如果以守护者队输掉比赛作为结局，或以“狼羊成见”作为另一条线索，大概会更高明一些。
一般般，喜欢篮球的应该觉得不错，但总觉得有点刻意

很好的成人向热血运动漫，笑点和泪点并存。可惜排片太少了，走了一个小时去看的。

怎么这么多人都说画风变了接受不了啊，我一开始也觉得画风好奇怪，但是看到后面，感觉是真的不错啊！！！！

相比筐出动画进一步脱离了原ip，更像是套用了几个重要角色人设另起炉灶的动物版灌篮高手，但子供向原作和新题材的排异反应依旧不小，剧情在幼稚和深度之间摇摆，就看官方如何取舍了，总的来说是一部梗足，致敬颇多且画面贼帅的篮球动画，新角色的人物弧光显得有点不足，但人家就是梆帅……

运镜，动作流畅。台词稍微有点问题，如动物世界里面没人类，关于中心的几句话表达太过于书面。
