The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 突然就找到方法了
我倒是觉得整体还行，故事节奏快，脉络清晰，虽然打斗一般，但整体还好。
简而言之，这是一部非常适合在无聊的时候打发时间的电影。如果你喜欢《活死人军团》，你同样也会被这部电影吸引。
竟然是小馬哥導演的，斯國一，很久都沒有看到這種good old fashioned犯罪片了，還有點想念。小馬哥被嚇得花枝招展的樣子好可愛，哈哈哈哈哈哈，很多地方一本正經地搞笑就更好玩了，不過本質上結局還是很悲慘的，再加上活死人軍團裡面小馬哥的結局，就更慘了，QAQ。

没那么难看但也不怎么好看。故事很老套，演员也还行，就是正常排了个电影的感觉。
我寻思有钱人应该不止一双运动鞋吧，而且你穿运动鞋怎么着也穿一双aj吧……
真正的蝙蝠侠。想给三星。但是我觉得没那么糟。甚至节奏还不错。
感谢现代的电影工业，感谢网飞，把这么平庸的故事拍的还算能看，男主和米奇沃克斯长得也太像了，女主长得也越来越像龙妈了
强行圆上了正篇的故事线，老实讲剧情也没有好到哪去，犯罪策略都很反智，还刻意设置了一个笨警察来配合。本来可以好好给作为外行的观众讲讲听声开锁的门道，结果把故事的开锁主线活生生变成了《尼伯龙根指环》的读书会，然后一顿瞎逼转解锁就完事。动作戏也乏善可陈，低配版金刚狼先生外强中干除了讲几句祖安话什么也不会。唯一能看的就是大波黑客小姐姐，以及如同行走的衣架子一般的弥桑黛小姐的英伦穿搭秀。
6.5/10 完成度还意外的可以，那么女主的衍生电影呢…

很喜欢马提亚斯~！他竟然自己导了
最后正传说了的汉斯瓦格纳，我居然从他身上看出了扎导之前夭折的项目“源泉”。不被世人认可的天才。很难不多想扎导把源泉的主角灵魂加入其中。
场面过得去，但情节确实没啥新鲜。可以看，爽就行，别抱太高期望就好。
原来是活死人军团的前传，开篇满分，完全是我和家属的菜！！怎么会只有6.6分？！Waaaaas？活死人军团看完都没什么印象，但这部真的太有意思了！大爱Ludwig Dieter，就喜欢这种认一门儿的呆子，让我想到自家老公哈哈哈。看完再去二刷活死人军团。（二刷有感，活死人军团真没意思。。。）
没想象中的那么难看，明显感到剪掉了很多素材，和《毒液2》一样都是急急忙忙完成后续电影铺垫的功能电影，商业定位大概是不赔钱就行。
真tm烂，烂的不知道莱托如何强忍着演完的。索尼想要拍邪恶六人组的野心跃然纸上，但这水平真的别拍了别拍了……
No.2334 跟《沿路而下》有点像，但是技术含量严重不足，纯纯的喜剧片。没太看出来三个史诗级的保险箱有什么难开的，操作都是一样的，边听边转动，原理就是这么简单的吗？每次开箱前都是讲下故事，没必要吧，废话太多了。最后这个女主要什么时候才能出来啊，说的好像等两三个月就没事儿释放了似的。最后才搞懂，原来这部电影是要接《活死人军团》的，中文翻译都是让人摸不着头脑。
