The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 实话说男主太不适合角色，没看出对狗的一点爱，也没表现出浪荡货的贱样，猛男形象这片子里不需要。
虽然绝大部分过程都太吵太闹，结尾葬礼上露露趴在主人的靴子上那一段实在让人泪奔。
哪里是喜剧，明明是悲剧。需要你时，你是英雄，是功勋犬；不需要时，是被安乐死，是桥底的流浪汉

直接放了一把山火配合老杰的表演，乱烧一气；相比之下，原版可谓温和潮湿。
人是会变的，从小时候很喜欢狗到无感再到现在的喜欢。看了这部电影之后更想拥有一只狗狗了，它们永远不会背叛自己认定的人。
一个退伍老兵，一条退役军犬，一个“送死”旅程...
多一星给老吉。全程打电话，电话那头的人说话模糊而且无法配合，听的我都快崩溃掉了，何况身处其中的男主角。这片子就是老吉的秀场，一个人撑起一个半小时，镜头360度无死角扫过他面部的每一个细节，但是毫无破绽。一直很喜欢老吉的表演，自然但是又有爆发力，最后情绪崩溃和下定决心认罪的转变非常震撼。
钱老板是标准的美式帅哥来一场标准的美式正能量公路片，看这电影不为别的，就是看个马丁靴，牛仔裤，亨利衫配上钱老板一身腱子肉（钱老板瘦回来了）开着美式大屁股车在海岸上chill,你说没营养也行，但有时候就好这一口
杰克·吉伦哈尔的独角戏，全看他在支撑电影。他接拍这样的电影，是为了拥有完全的空间，好去释放自己的所有能力吧。但是，这偏偏又让人更易察觉他戏路愈发缩窄，愈发单一的问题，好像怎么演都是那样，根本看不到进步，甚至产生了视觉疲累，因为他实在接了太多类似的戏种了，前几年看他接拍《破碎人生》就有这种感觉。怎么说呢，其实想演技突破，并不能走这种捷径，一个人把剧本全吃了，徒增无谓的饱腹感，正所谓独食难肥啊，而且到了最后，我们作为观众，看得还是电影质量如何吧，演员再厉害，终归难以决定整部作品的命运走向。所以说到底，电影的背后是“群戏”，只有一个人在那里狂努力，是很难大放光彩的。要是整部电影都在为你服务，那质量就显然更难保证了。

据统计军犬的寿命是非常短暂的，一般的服役年限只有3—5年，而在退役之后，各个国家的处理方式各不相同。据了解，在英美等国家一般对军犬实行安乐死，而在我国，退役后的军犬大部分会留在原单位安享晚年。它们将最好的状态都奉献给了部队，它们是真正的战士，也是我们最忠实的朋友！
故事的最后，帅哥和修狗幸福地生活在了一起❤️
