The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 暴力神棍版王子复仇记，完全就是想象中的样子，没有惊喜，比较无感。全片最让人意想不到的大概是这种大制作里居然能看到那么粗糙那么丑的CG画面吧

挺好看的，只是剧情对话什么的比较戏剧，可能有人觉得不够现实。如果拍一部正统好来屋的类型，那一定非常好看。

Rather than the story itself, Eggers is more concerned with a certain way of filmmaking - let’s say a certain level of visual intensity and an innate authenticity inherited in folklores and mythologies that makes that type of storytelling the dominant narrative form in western cultures. That way he can get deeper into what those cultures are.
中世纪味道基本靠脏。不难看也不好看，就是…看着挺花钱的。
4.0。1.莎士比亚的哈姆雷特无疑是一个天选之子，背上了替父报仇的宿命，彰显的是人文主义者的理想驱散现实黑暗。罗伯特·艾格斯的阿姆雷特是自以为是天选之子却不得不背上替父报仇却只能共毁灭的命运，一个是人的觉醒，一个是人的毁灭，大相径庭。2.连带着北欧风光的摄影更多选择了黑白色彩，尤其是对门的使用，门内门外两个世界，从门中窥视仇人复仇，又从门走向下一代新生。3.如果没有大银幕的直观观感，给予任何过多的评价都显多余。
這部電影故事的難看程度就像亞歷山大下降的顏值一樣，個別鏡頭還不錯
很难被娱乐到，尤其是看完权游《血色婚礼》和二丫复仇后。
有一点没想到这是艾格斯的片子 依旧是风格感十足的影调 但故事稍微无聊了一点点 画面和声音层面的质感让我很想在电影院看一遍//啊 什么时候能进电影院看影展啊
把手术和自残视为new sex，充满了性的符号，导演意淫的是有点恶心了。我总是不太能接受男性导演这样的视角·····台词、调度、部分演员的演技让人很出戏。
虽然对这种古典戏剧新改体裁+北欧神话史诗题材不太感冒，但视听还是强大到撑得起140分钟，这梦幻卡司也是极其捧场，Eggers感觉要火。
都2022年还在拍王子复仇记也太boring了吧
明显看出艾格斯个人风格与高成本制作间难以取舍最终在两者间徘徊的创作感受
