The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东木老爷子还在擅长的领域拍着电影，老牛仔一面展示与动物的亲近，一面教育起了小孩子，这趟旅程很无趣，西班牙语与英语的切换也让人难受，尾随者构不成严重的威胁，唯一的黄昏晚霞，多少散发出一丝慰藉，也许这就是东木当下的心境，寻求归宿。

《哭泣的男人》隐约有些《廊桥遗梦》+《完美的世界》的味道，但克林特·伊斯特伍德老爷子毕竟已是91岁鲐背之年，片子的整体精细程度已不如已成传奇的两部前作，不过个人风格仍是满满，豪放不羁，欹嵚历落。牛仔迟暮，壮心不已，片中酒馆老板娘的话才是画龙点睛：“我做我想做的事，无须别人来告诉我该怎么做。”主题曲为影片增色不少，值得单曲循环一整天。（《Sabor a Mí》《Find a New Home》）
东木真的是老了，没有了过往作品的冲突与矛盾，剩下的尽是岁月带来的平缓和温柔，但从头至尾看完也是给人一种舒适的感觉。如果可以，还是希望他可以一直拍下去。
把亞當斯一家的人物特點拍出來，然後瞎扯個劇本
支离破碎，牵强附会。这应该是我看过的Clint Eastwood执导或出演过的最差劲的作品之一了。

说实在的……只把奥斯卡的趴当背景音听的……每个有意思的ip到了你坞第二部就只剩哥斯拉式的大战了，毫不意外
东木变得好温柔。动机不重要，冲突不重要，就是纯粹的一段际遇、一段感情。
暗黑哥特风挺特别，做成烂片就是你的不对了。
