The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 从名字就吸引我的电影，果然又有侯麦的“戏份”。声音电台、夜晚、八十年代、单亲家庭、女性主导叙事，摇曳又自然，像是只有巴黎才能发生的故事。
