The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 有趣的电影，全程会心的笑。一直非常喜欢看老年演员演戏，那种眼神里浅浅若隐若现的自信和从容，会带来绝佳的观影体验和一丝对人生略有略无的思考。希望世间的老人们都能快乐幸福的度过晚年生活。结尾托里凯莉的出现时稍显意外和激动。
好久没有看到这样老套充满人情味的故事了，结合疫情背景下更显得珍贵，生活中有比钱和赢更重要的东西值得守护。
