马其顿民间狼女巫的传说故事，被澳洲一新手导演改编成唯美的艺术片，讲究光与影交错的镜头，诗样的旁白推进情节，连血腥的镜头也做了审美化处理。这样的拍摄方式实在与故事有些违和。故事本身还是有意思的，一个自小被女巫看中并被母亲藏在山洞中的女孩，在成为吸血鬼之后，凭借变身的技能，重新体验自己失去的人生。她从一个拙于生活之人，学会了生活并享受人生，让自己不再孤单。
