During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 从小就看好莱坞的家庭片，其实这样一成不变的状态也很好，就是很温暖的样子。挺舒服的！
如果实在没有想看的又莫名出奇地想看电影来打发时间的话，这部电影是个不错选择，很轻松，不需要动脑子，就跟着剧情推进就好。整部电影除了透着合家欢的喜剧氛围，就只有一点能表达出来，即资本家是万恶的根源。
也不能忽略这狗搞破坏的能力啊，家里什么都不是完好的，所以送到动物乐园，在野外待着才是最好的。
非常治愈人心，看着电影，再看看在一旁陪伴着我的朵朵，人间有太多苦难，所以上帝创造了狗狗 感谢这些生命带来的，治愈人心的力量
很适合小孩子看，虽然“我们不一样”但是也值得被平等对待。成人看可能会觉得故事太简单了，而且也有一些魔法奇幻的成分。

没有什么真情实感的电影，一点也不打动人，各种肤浅的元素的堆砌。
电源版实在太让人失望了，bug太多，葛优都带不起戏来。

很久没有看过这么一部纯粹的动物动画电影了，虽然大狗的造型有点粗糙，但是剧中除了绝对的反派外，其余每个人都很善良，果然是童话改编的，看完非常治愈。每个人都是独特的，我们不能因为某一个人某种“不合群”就看不起他，欺负他。小孩子都懂的道理，成人怎么会不明白呢？因为一个小女孩，一只大狗，温暖了一个城市。就是不知道有了大狗狗，以后这个城市的草地上还会不会有翻滚球这个体育运动呢？哈哈，总觉得这个项目像人形仓鼠球。
剧情虽然离谱但也挺可爱 只是最后那段美国梦演说什么鬼 尬到人直接快进到结束…
