The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 讽刺摆在明面上却也仅仅只是停留在明面上，整体比较平庸。有几场戏是挺好玩的，但总体来说却又不够好玩。故事的创意其实还不错，剧本写得不出彩。表演完成度很好，全片最大的加分点
濃墨重彩的愧疚委屈和雲淡風輕的平息和解很動人。

镜头，颜色，妆容处理富有美感；
第一个想夸的竟然是这个取景地的空间感，完全不像是试读剧本和排练的地方，但是又和这个非常artificial vibe的故事很搭
出于职业情怀，给个满星评价吧。
意料之外情理之中。片长稍微有点长，后半程一直在等结束了…好在还有些许闪光点逗你笑…Antonio Banderas不错！
全片视效棒极了，虽然场景简单，基本在一幢建筑内，而且室内光……节约出的空间全留给三个戏精飙演技，把装X境界和暗黑心态的小包袱都抖开，成全金主爸爸的80岁头脑一热～果然有钱是可以为所欲为滴！
別致的劇中劇，主要靠對白推動，和《在車上》相比更戲劇性地表演“一部電影的誕生”。2021年金馬獎沒買到票，二輪補看。2022.5.16，湳山戲院。

更愿意把这电影看作是一场关于“人生这部永不会结束的大电影”的行为艺术。
是戏，就该永远演下去，不管真相在何时暴露。
有趣，結尾有點弱。Penélope太有魅力了！
继《杰出公民》之后越来越喜欢马丁内兹演这种小老头角色了
整体碰撞在一起，导致：文艺之中参杂着黑色幽默，甚至带点神经质，气质直接拉满。
人类的悲欢难以相通，哪怕已经非常努力。太累了，藉海豚云圆个场
观感好玩，火力密集，并且没有限制该站某一方或者持某一个固定观点。大概也导致了无法有一个漂亮巧妙的大结局，只能在过程每一个情节的剧烈程度上加码。不得不说可能对演员的要求会变得更高，也会利用到一些自身形象，不过完成得都挺精彩。
不得不让人深思，究竟谁之过？
