The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
不过还是感到很新奇，因为对于舞台剧的艺术形式虽然了解不是很深、只是泛泛的看过一些音乐剧，但是经过前一阵子参与学校的一个话剧制作，对舞台剧这种形式多少也有了一点了解…所以对这部剧的整体构建模式很惊叹，原来只见过快速的场景变换，几个演员换个衣服、灯光变一下就是空间变换了，但是这种大规模的一人饰多角，在配合上频繁的剧情空间变化…真的是的十分大胆，十来个人感觉演了好几十个角色。
形式惊人，转场等各种充满想象力。分扣在歌曲并没有特别抓耳。

3.7在伦敦西pheonix：里面每首歌都很好听 整体很欢乐 但是下半场一波接一波推高潮的时候每段都让我觉得要结束了却还没完。。。反而有点疲软 但最后乐队谢幕全场起身鼓掌 氛围很好
超棒！在疫情时期和911二十周年之际，很有力量的一部人性音乐剧❤️
世界大同的感动，强烈地感觉到中国离普世价值越来越远了
与《我们的小镇》有同种韵味。二十至三十分钟些许有重复和疲乏，为全剧唯一败笔。节奏接近顶级。总体接近完美，未来必将成为经典，不断流传。不过内容应该继续拓展
12人抛开政治不谈，那种音乐带来的直接感受的激情！还是能让我们感受到作为普通人的感动！音乐剧给人很直接的感受！

4.7 从头哭到尾 甚至不用什么情节触动 仅仅在这种人类共同体的氛围下无法抵挡去同感一场不可愈合的灾难的痛和人们相互取暖的温柔。/感染力好好 旋律还行 中东线和动物线好喜欢/这是我见过最不养闲人的剧组了
哭死我了，故事本就很动人，这舞台调度更是超凡
优秀音乐剧有巨大的能量！极简场景中的演员调度和一秒转场神到我了，一路O嘴惊叹。

耐听性包括舞台观赏性差了点。女机长solo女性力量依旧最强。
