The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. No.2455 随随便便就把地球给拯救了，通关太简单了些。最后为了凑一个合家欢，把“邪恶”的军方给干掉了，把有钱的后爸干掉了，把没有家庭、母亲认不得的“失败者”干掉了。
吉吉国王的生意爱情路。基本算是维持了剧的搞笑水准。两人的爱情很幸福。
最后总有一个人选择牺牲自己保存大家，保存地球，保存文明与希望。
编剧脑子瓦特了，乱几把写，怎么不令人信服怎么写。
故事情节比较简单，软科幻，AI反人类的故事。视觉效果很赞
从一半开始看，从网友们的评论得知，似乎刚刚好哈哈哈。感觉不错啊，尽管有点扯，但科幻嘛，哪有什么对错。中国姑娘没有打酱油，没有拖后腿，迄今为止美国大片里表现最优秀的。
中规中矩吧，如果对“戴森球”和“月球空心论”“高阶文明”等科幻理论有所了解的话，看下来其实不会太尬，罗兰·艾默里奇的灾难把控还是局限了一点，不知道接下来地球还有什么可以让罗兰继续银幕毁灭。
愚蠢的剧情，恶心的ZZZQ。华谊是非洲公司么？
即便我一直不太计较科幻片的科学逻辑，只要特效视觉看得爽就好。但你们这么忽悠我有点过分了啊！其他不说，地球的武器就能那么轻易摧毁外星人工智能？你们确定这不是在侮辱我的智商？气愤！
剧情也好、特效也好，都停留在十多年前……于文文，谁在力捧她？
前半段都挺好，到了月球之后感觉编剧突然说我编不下去了，直接机械降神，星球大战串台过来了？？啥学历没有的胖子比一群NASA大神懂得还多？这设定也太扯了？另外于文文这个角色真的安排的太尬了，为啥不把办公室里面坐到最后的那两个角色其中一个安排给她啊？
对于月球的想象还是有点意思的 但整个剧情逻辑也太随便了（（（
还是用了3个午休时间（睡着了3次，相当于催眠了），咬牙看完了。漂亮国主旋律，硬伤太多，正常人都能看出来。仅次于希特勒月球秘密基地反攻地球这种离大谱的剧情。但是公平地讲，也还是有一些原创性的，月球内部结构什么的，总得去构想是吧？整部片就勉强能看的程度。在科幻片鄙视链中垫个底吧，星际穿越这种天花板，就不用拿出来比较了。
幸好Carl Sagan看不到这片子，不然会被气死。
特效还可以，就是剧情俗了，还是传统的美式英雄主义，救地球看来只能靠美国人啊，别的国家的人都是废物。。月球内部空心结构看着挺震撼，就是可惜了那些没飞起来的“祖先们”的战机。。于文文的英文还不错
挺喜欢这个故事的。人类造了月亮保护自己、延续基因，这才不愧自古到今如此多人用各种方式赞美月亮，月亮真亮，却不冰凉。不是每个电影都要上升到无常、无我状态才算好的，低级肤浅之快乐也能起调剂作用呢！豆瓣之坚持有时也太片面化了。不会片名真该改一下，不是陨落，是自救。
拍得很民科，扯的成分过高，这想象力确实天马行空。
对于月球的想象还是有点意思的 但整个剧情逻辑也太随便了（（（
月球居然是人类祖先造的智能体，里面是空心的！先进的人类文明居然是被自己研发的人工智能干掉的。进入月球内部的时候，我好害怕里面有巨人等着他们苏醒，然后去拯救月球。
电影真的非常好看，超出预期地好看。细节转折很多，所有角色都很讨喜，节奏也不错，画面干净漂亮，笑点密集轻松搞笑，底色也表现的很好，尤其结局，没有糊弄观众。
