The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 去看了魏翔沈腾艾伦火之前的小品，魏翔演技这一块确实做得很好。但是这部剧除了魏翔的演技就没什么了
带着很低的预期来看，结果还不错。开头十几分钟确实有点尴尬，动不动就乱吼有点装疯卖傻哗众取宠的嫌疑，好在之后就渐入佳境，笑点设计也挺好笑的，春节档图个乐看个开心已经很满足了，最后结尾现实与拍戏的转换也不错，部分小反转虽然好猜但还是提供了不少的笑点。如今看来，这种笑点不在预告片里全部展现的电影还是好好珍惜吧。之前是我错怪它了，以后还是得对春节档的喜剧抱有期待的。
讽刺性十足的小喜剧，一股诡异的气氛笼罩全片，有点西班牙独特气质惊悚片的感觉，但缺乏更深刻或独创性的观点以及真正意义上的戏剧高潮。《老无所依》中杀手扮演的老板，演技精湛。
原声的笑点几乎全都听懂了，周围老头老太太笑挺开心的哈哈哈，感觉导演想玩儿的那套讽刺和幽默还稍微差点儿意思，我感受到了他的意图，但是火候还不够
都2022年了还有人用这种梗这种故事背景，看了真是浪费时间，大过年的千万别花冤枉钱去吃这个苍蝇
因为员工着实也是不靠谱，导致没看出什么黑色幽默的讽刺…
3.5，最后一幕哈登演技绝了，实习生也太婊了
作为影迷，对电影中非常多的迷影梗印象非常深刻：在车上抚摸猫致敬《教父》、在雨夜跳舞致敬《雨中曲》、枪战时墙上的荒野大镖客黄金三镖客海报等，电影充斥着各种关于电影的彩蛋等待观众去发掘，寻找这些迷影梗的过程也非常有乐趣。
作为一个喜剧 魏翔贡献了让我近5年来笑的最惨的一个片段。笑到流泪笑到岔气笑到差点断气哈哈哈哈哈 这还要什么自行车。
深刻诠释了什么叫伪善，我们都有着自私的一面，为着个人看似崇高却可有可无的利益，指使自己去证明别人的错误或加以侵犯。这样的层层羁绊将我们交织在一起，互相伤害，各自可怜！
结尾花絮，魏翔哭着说：“这是我第一部男主角。”倒是比剧里的设定动人一百倍。
走出影厅时，恰逢隔壁厅的《奇迹笨小孩》同时散场。看着他们湿润的眼眶，听着他们三三两两、不绝于耳的赞叹声，我感觉我肠子都要的悔青了。（《这个杀手不太冷静》+《李茂换太子》，这哥俩儿真是用实力证明了「谐音梗必摆烂」这句话的可信度与准确性）
挖掘企业文化的暗面，审视逐利剥削的企业生态；各种荒诞与精心的讽刺之下，还藏着一些不寒而栗的真相。最后老头拿着电钻在老板身后那段，哈维尔表情非常传神，演技相当精湛。
哈维尔巴登演的很不错，不过这种片子能得到去年的戈雅奖有点托大了，其他不说，单说像这种老板在天朝活不过3集！
而且都是大家知道的，再浓墨重彩临摹一遍，总感觉有点没必要。
蛮有趣的电影，有讽刺，有一些有趣的细节。4星是可以的！
讽刺喜剧小品。或许可以改名叫“演讲的力量”，自私冷漠的资本家如何收服自己的信徒，让他们甘愿为自己卖命。刚刚踏入职场年轻小姑娘的兴奋，拖家带口中年男子被裁员后的愤怒又无奈，老员工因情感问题而心不在焉，妻子欲言又止的问题。一周时间，老板除了工作什么都干了…
3.5，最后一幕哈登演技绝了，实习生也太婊了
3.5星 这部电影有种双重讽刺的黑色效果。这个老板虚伪贪婪，装作好老板的样子却一直在做腌臜事。 然而，然而，这样的老板如果放在国内，还真的是个好老板，非常好的那种。太讽刺了。 另，由于没有交代为什么开除那个工人，我也分不出是非，只是有一点让我讨厌：当那个工人拒绝一切解决方案只想闹事到底的时候，我无比希望他肉体消失。除了作为中国人骨子里的守序（或者说调和折中），我不懂这么闹下去有什么好处？是能掀起革命还是能获得实利？有老婆有孩子有人生，这种情况下（我看来是正常解雇，或者恶意违法解雇也不影响结论）为什么不去解决这个问题而只是在耍性子？
极具讽刺，非常精彩。看来编导是把对于小型民营资本家的一切理解与抱怨都在哈维尔巴登身上做了一次集中体现。这该死的「利益至上」，这该死的一周。整天被没完没了的「抗议」骚扰，卷入发小的婚姻与家庭危机，莫名其妙和自己同学的女儿搞在一起，够乱够杂够糟心，巴登演技几乎可以封神。结尾部分异彩纷呈，烧毁的汽车被横幅遮挡，心机女孩靠反杀上位，绑在天平上的子弹更是将讽刺拉满。年度好戏，入围了奥斯卡最佳外语片十五部小名单，建议喜剧爱好者选择观看。
